City Park

Our first stop in Miri was at this beautiful park. The place was really clean and there were lots of flowers and other plants all over the area. I'm not a plant person though so please don't make me name names here because I only know a few of them. Haha. We loved the place so much that my Mom was so game to take my look shots there. Good thing I didn't wear anything too colorful (oh well, except for my pink shoes of course), the background ended up as a compliment to my outfit making my colors stand out from the ones behind me. Now I realized that my background can always make or break my mini photoshoots. Haha. I think my Mom enjoyed taking my outfit shots as much as she enjoyed taking snapshots of the beautiful flowers there. Achieve na achieve ni Mother dear ang garden shoot! Haha. Photo Diary: Miri, Malaysia

Yesterday I went to a park, saw beautiful flowers and animals, took a lot of pictures, ate a lot of sushi, went shoe shopping, bought pasalubongs, had my passport stamped, and most especially, spent quality time with my parents. I really love it when they're not busy for work (nyahaha)! Anyway, here are the photos I took from our trip to Miri, Malaysia. Watch out for my outfit post tomorrow.. :)

Hong Kong Ocean Park

I'm officially in love with taking pictures! I still haven't had enough time to just sit down and get to know my camera that's why I take every opportunity I can to use it. On to the pictures, let me take you to another photo tour at one of Hong Kong's most popular amusement parks--- Ocean Park! The land area covered by the whole park is so huge that if you plan to visit and you want to make the most out of it, you should allot one whole day there. Hanah and I decided to go there after lunch since we didn't want to get burned by the heat of the sun. But because we were too curious about the shopping streets outside the Central subway station, we decided to go out first and take a look around. We found a couple of interesting shops there so we ended up arriving at the Ocean Park at 4pm. Thank God, sunsets take place at around 8pm, we were able to take pictures and enjoy the view. We were not able to go to the other parts of the park though since we were already too tired and it was already getting late. So this is what happens when you try so hard to squeeze everything in to your itinerary! Oh well, at least I've got a lot of reasons to look forward to coming back. :)

Harbour City

When traveling, the best way to make your life easier is by wearing light comfortable clothing. But because I'm not the simple kinda girl, the least I could do in times like this is incorporate colors and textures into my outfit to bring interesting elements to the ensemble without giving myself a hard time just because of my "tiis ganda" outfit. I didn't bring enough clothes with me so I had to wear the stuffs I bought there. Haha. These shots were taken at the Harbour City right before we boarded the ferry going to Central. You can either cross from Kowloon Peninsula to Hong Kong island via train or ferry. So if you're in a hurry, you can always use the MTR to get to the other island but if you want to enjoy the view of Hong Kong's central business district from afar, their ferries are also fast and efficient. You don't even have to wait too long for the ferry to arrive. It'll only take you about 10-15 minutes to cross the other side of Hong Kong. Fare is only 2.50-4.00 HKD.
