Leopard and Lace

We often see leopard print and lace together in lingerie and only two words come to mind when these two combine- sexy and fierce. Now how can these two elements come together to make day-wear work without being over the top? Because these two items are already strong on their own, the key is to dress down. That's what I'm trying to achieve in pairing this combo with these high-waisted denim shorts. It helped that these pair is in a sporty cut so instead of adding sophistication to this look, the shorts toned it down to a more casual level. To put the whole look together, I wore these classic pair of sandals to keep everything in balance. What do you think? :)
