Bangkok Day 4

For my last day in Bangkok, I made sure to wake-up early so I could enjoy the morning sun by the pool, over-looking the city. My Mom left early for their field trip though so I just took photos of the hotel's pool area.

After my short swimming session, I ate my last breakfast at the hotel before heading out. Look at my plate.. Don't you think I ate too much? Haha.

Outfit of the day, laser cut top and floral shorts.

H&M Bangkok opened last September 29 at Siam Paragon so I made sure to drop by. Mom and I actually went there the day we arrived but there were too many people and the lines were crazy so I decided to go back first thing in the morning on my last day. It's easy to go there since the mall is connected to the train station.

Prayer areas in front of Central World.

These maps were my travel buddies..

My Mom took me to this restaurant near the hotel. I really loved the place and the food was great too. This was our last activity before I went back to the airport while my Mom stayed since her flight back to Brunei was scheduled the day after I left. I had a really nice time with my Mom there and the trip was truly memorable and one for the books.. Until my next trip.. :)

Bangkok Day 2

I mentioned in one of my tweets that I'm with my Mom in this trip but since she's here for a meeting, I had to explore the city on my own until she's done with her agendas. So expect mirror shots in my next posts since I had no photographer to take my outfit shots for me. Haha. And since it's not my first time here in Bangkok, I didn't sign up with any tours. Instead, I focused all my energy on shopping!!! Haha. Among the Asian countries I've been to, Bangkok is indeed the best place for shopping if you're into cheap, trendy stuffs like me. Well, I haven't been to mainland China so I'm not sure which place is more bargain friendly. So let's just talk about Bangkok. Haha. Anyway, when you go to their wholesale malls and  markets, you'd most probably find something nice in every store and the prices are surprisingly very minimal. You can even get a discount if you buy a minimum of 3 items in one store. Just like what I said in one of my tweets, you can never have enough money for shopping when you're here in Bangkok. Haha.

Outfit of the Day.
I love the print on my skirt! I bought this from a night market the day we arrived.
MBK, one of the shopping malls located beside National Stadium. I just went there to check the place but I didn't like the selection. Just not my type. Haha.
Sky Train. If you're in a foreign country, all you have to do is follow train stations and you'll never get lost. Just make sure you follow the right directions.
Inside Platinum Mall. photos are not allowed here but luckily, I was able to snap a few.

Erawan. One of the high-end malls in Bangkok along Sukhumvit Road.
Central World. The largest mall in Bangkok.
A little of everything on my plate. This is just the first batch so don't underestimate me. Haha

Bangkok Day 1

Hello everyone! I'm still here in Bangkok and here's what I wore the day we arrived. This outfit is something very comfortable yet hints of surprises can be found in the details. Take my shorts for example, they're just the typical kind of shorts except that it's made of gold faux leather. I can imagine wearing these shorts to events with heels but it can also be worn on casual days depending on how you style it. My top on the other hand looks simple in front but when I turn around, you'll see that it's sleeves continue as a cape at the back. And then the print on my bag, matches the print of my top, making it more interesting. And oh, the touches of gold matches my shorts too. Travel photos coming up in my next post.. :)

 What I Wore:
cape top from Binkydoodles
gold shorts from Forever21,
bag from Bonia
